     AWANA

AWANA is a Bible centered program for 3-year-olds to 6th graders.  It comes from the first letters of Approved workmen are not ashamed (2 Tim. 2:15).  The heart of AWANA is the gospel message.  Club night consists of three different activities following the opening ceremonies.

Opening Assembly

Clubbers participate through Opening ceremonies, Handbook Time, Game Time, and Council Time.  All clubbers meet together during this time of announcements and flag pledges. Clubbers pledge allegiance to the American Flag as well as the AWANA Flag.

Handbook Time

Using achievement-oriented curriculum, AWANA emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Bible verses. With a trained leader alongside to encourage and guide, clubbers develop a Bible-based view of how to know and serve God. Clubbers are rewarded for their achievements as they progress through the handbooks.

Game Time

Every AWANA Club meeting includes a high -energy Game Time featuring team competition. Game Time unleashes kids’ natural energy and enthusiasm. The AWANA Game Circle has universal appeal. Kids love AWANA games! And everyone participates.

Council  Time

The whole club gathers for a Bible message, singing, and announcements of upcoming events. One highlight of Council Time is the presentation of awards for individual handbook progress and team competition.

AWANA meets every Wednesday night through the school year in the Gym and Fellowship hall from 6:30 a.m. – 8:10 a.m.
