Sunday School

Through teaching and the loving concern of teachers and parents, it is our desire for children to arrive at the teen years with a good foundation for following Christ as their Savior. The preschool through elementary years are critical ones for building a foundation of faith. Our teachers are committed to providing a structured environment in which all children, ages 3 through 6th grade, in which they receive biblical training during the Sunday School hour, 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. We understand that we have only one hour, out of each child’s 169 hours a week, to make Sunday School a life changing event for them, and we strive to do so every week.

Currently we are using the David E. Cook curriculum in our classrooms. Teachers follow a four-step learning plan designed to mirror the same approach that Jesus often used. Jesus started where His students were. Jesus shared life-changing truth. Jesus explained how His truth applied. Jesus called for action. Our Sunday School lessons follow the same pattern.

If you have a heart for children and are interested in raising up the next generation in Christ’s name, please consider volunteering for this vital ministry.
