We exist to creatively, communicate through musical forms, the reality of Jesus Christ and His relevancy in our lives in a way that perpetuates authentic devotion to Him resulting in a sincere lifestyle of worship.
The Music & Arts Ministry at Wildwood is committed to honoring Jesus Christ, enriching the worship of our Almighty God, reflecting Scriptural truth, and meeting the needs of those who gather to worship our Lord Jesus Christ - the church body. God delights in the songs and praises of His people, and the Word of God instructs us that these musical expressions are due to Him. The promise in His Word is that He draws near to us as we offer our songs of praise to Him. Churches throughout history have claimed this promise and have experienced the real presence of God in their lives. The Music and Arts Ministry is dedicated to elevating the level of worship, corporately and personally. Our desire is to lift up Christ in all that we do and bring honor and glory to His name! Worship Team | The Worship Team and Praise Band actively leads us into dynamic worship each Sunday morning. The Wildwood Worship Teams are also active in various community outreaches and programs. Interviews and auditions are held periodically throughout the year. |
Celebration Choir | The Celebration Choir is an non-audition group of people who love Jesus with all their hearts and serve Him with joy and gladness. The choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 - 8:00 PM and on a regular basis, ministers in the Sunday morning services. From late August through December, and February through May, anyone interested in singing in the Christmas Pageant or Spring Worship Celebration is invited to rehearse with the choir from 6:30 - 7:15. The Celebration Choir also participates in community outreach, worship events, and concerts. |
Fuel Choir | The Junior Choir is made up of young people grades 3 - 8 and meets Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 6:30 PM during the school year. They participate in our worship services throughout the year and have opportunities to sing in nursing homes and other community venues. Special attention is given to instruction on Who and why we worship. |
Drama Team | The Wildwood Drama ministry is a work in progress that is highly effective in our seasonal community outreach ministries. Drama is incorporated in our week-end worship services with a purpose to draw people in to further explore the claims of Christ, the truth of Scripture, and make clear applications of the Bible messages. We are always looking for people who are gifted in acting and the arts. |
Orchestra | Our Orchestra is made up of individuals who want to invest their musical talents into Kingdom building adventures! We are always looking for those who need to dust off the instrument case in the attic, and join our orchestra for exciting ministry opportunities. The Christmas Pageant and Spring Worship Celebration are the main uses of our Orchestra, however; this group of committed individuals will on occasion accompany the Celebration Choir. |
Technical Team | The Technical Team includes, Sound,
Lighting, and Computer personnel that are very key ingredients to the success
of our services. Training is offered to those interested in serving on this team,
because what goes on behind the scenes, is evidenced in the live corporate worship
