Student Ministry Team

I believe God wants to do some amazing things through this student ministry, but I believe the way He will do this is through you, the students. We want to be a ministry of students that connects, grows and leads students verse being just a ministry to students. This student ministry is YOUR student ministry and it will become what you make it by the grace of God.

A ministry of students takes growing student leaders. Although every one of you has the opportunity to serve and contribute, as all of you should do, there are some of you who God is calling to be leaders in our group and who will provide a greater influence than most. For those of you interested in serving in this leadership role, you need to know this takes a big commitment but being on the Student Ministry Team (SMT) means that I will commit to you as a leader to help you grow, not only for this ministry, but as you grow in life. This SMT will provide the servant leadership for our group as well as help make important decisions. Our mission as a student ministry is to make disciples by connecting, growing and leading other students; therefore it will be the mission of the SMT to decide how best to do that.

The SMT is a team of students that meets once a month for the purpose of growing in Christ and providing leadership and direction for the student ministry. This is an awesome way to lead our student ministry and use your time to make a difference!

The expectations for each person desiring to serve on the SMT is a growing relationship with God, a commitment to connect, grow and lead other students, and regular participation in the student ministry at Wildwood Church. You are also expected to make every effort to be at all the leadership meetings. Right now, we meet once a month at 4:30pm.

If you are interested in joining, you must fill out your application and RETURN TO ME BY AUGUST 6th. August 20th will be the first meeting of the new school year.
